McLean Hospital

McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts, is the largest psychiatric teaching facility of Harvard Medical School.

McLean's facilities occupy about 50 acres of its 240-acre site. The Keefe Company served as McLean's advisor in its successful effort to win approval of a master plan to rezone the property for a mixture of open space, residential, and hospital use.

Tsongas Arena, Lowell

The Keefe Company served as development manager for the $28 million Tsongas Arena in downtown Lowell. We developed the overall siting plan for the arena and related developments, managed the land acquisition strategy, negotiated a $20 million state grant agreement, and managed grants for related projects.

David J. Sargent Hall, the new main building of Suffolk University Law School, opened in 1999 on Tremont Street in downtown Boston.

The Keefe Company assisted Suffolk University in obtaining the public support and government approvals necessary for the construction of this building, which is located on the Freedom Trail opposite the historic Granary Burial Ground.

Salem State College Central Campus

The Keefe Company played a critical role in the transformation of the former GTE property into the Salem State College Central Campus.

The Keefe Company prepared the acquisition and development strategy for the 38 acre site, which includes 400,000 square feet of buildings. We managed all aspects of this development.

Community Teamwork, Lowell

For Community Teamwork of Lowell, the Keefe Company identified a vacant 67,000 square foot office building constructed in 1985, and managed its acquisition and conversion into a Comprehensive Child Development Center with 28 classrooms, cafeteria facilities, and play area. The facility is used to provide Head Start and Early Head Start services to families from throughout the greater Lowell region.
